SANAM Group Holding announced its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, recording a net profit of KD 2,017,837 — a 96.4% increase compared to the prior year. Earnings per share reached 10.66 fils, up from 6.65 fils. Total assets rose to over KD 25.5 million versus KD 12.2 million at year-end 2024, an increase of 109%.

The Board of Directors recommended a 5% stock dividend, subject to approval by the General Assembly and regulatory authorities, reflecting the strength of the Group's financial position and its commitment to sustainable growth.

Mr. Walid Hamad Al-Sumait, Chairman of the Board, stated that the 2025 financial results reflect the strength of the Group's strategic approach, recording the highest net profit in the company's history spanning over four decades. He affirmed SANAM's continued operation under a clear vision aimed at maximizing shareholder returns.

He added that 2025 witnessed landmark milestones, most notably the historic achievement of the Transformation Plan — converting the company into a Sharia-compliant holding company — as well as the successful capital increase subscription, which was oversubscribed by 618%.

Dr. Sulaiman Tareq Al Abduljader, Vice Chairman and CEO of SANAM Group Holding, stated that the 2025 results reflect the success of the Transformation Plan in positioning SANAM as a leading regional company in alternative investments across GCC countries. He confirmed the Group's continued focus on strengthening its regional presence in line with the approved strategy, and noted that the company is currently preparing the Growth Plan for Board approval.

He added: "We are committed to completing our strategy with an ambitious action plan and a balanced investment policy to create sustainable growth for shareholders."

SANAM's Strategy

SANAM Group's strategy, developed and approved since 2022, consists of three phases: the Restructuring Phase (2022–2024), focused on administrative and financial restructuring and divestment from non-strategic assets; the Transformation Phase (2024–2026), converting the company into a Sharia-compliant holding company and investing in education, industrials, and healthcare; and the Growth Phase (2026–2030), aimed at building leading regional sector platforms across invested sectors, as well as infrastructure, renewable energy, and related technologies.

Key Achievements

The Group completed its Transformation Plan, converting to a Sharia-compliant holding company with a capital increase oversubscribed at 618%. SANAM acquired a 24% stake in National Medical Consumable Industries Co. (NATMED), a market leader in medical and food consumables since 1989. The Group also acquired a majority stake in Addax BSC (Bahrain), an education-focused company owning a school in the UAE, and completed a complementary acquisition of a majority stake in a Saudi education company with two schools in Riyadh, with an ambitious GCC expansion plan. Additionally, SANAM established MEDCAP Medical, formed strategic partnerships, and opened its first medical center in Kuwait.
